We are bloodied but we are unbowed
They ask us why?
Because we see the light of every new day!

We stand in hell, and remain unscathed
They ask us how?
Because we are fallen but full of grace!

We sometimes do wrong but we are good
They ask us how can that be?
Because our sins do not speak for us!

We lose but we come back again
They ask us how can we?
Because we are not dead yet!
